Your employer may offer an FSA/HSA plan that you put funds into. FSA/HSA holders can pay for the following through their accounts.
Co-pays and deductibles
Routine Eye Exam Fees
Differences Between HSA/FSA:
Funded by the primary account holder
Normally expires at the end of the year
Account holders have to keep record of their expenses.
Usually seen with plans with high deductables
No expiration date
May gain interest over time if you don't use it
Remember to always look over your plan and policy, there might be some limitations. The first step into using your FSA/HSA is to make an appointment to see one of our doctors, to learn if you have any vision issues or need glasses or contacts.
